Stead Coming Or Going?

Reports this afternoon suggest that Jon Stead is both at The Ricoh Arena talking through the finer points of a loan move to Coventry and others saying he has already rejected the move. The 26-year-old striker was allowed to speak to Coventry last week and it appears he is there today signing on-loan until the end of the normal season, but Roy Keane says he will be in the squad for Town's game against Peterborough tomorrow night.

Town manager Roy Keane: "I gave him permission the other day to speak to Coventry. We trained Sunday morning and he was at training, so I take it he has turned down an opportunity, which he has every right to.

"We have got a lot of strikers.

"When I put these opportunities to the players, it is up to the player and he obviously wants to stay and fight for his place which is not a problem and he will be in the squad tomorrow night."
