Town will be looking to return to winning ways tomorrow when they travel to Deepdale to take on Darren Ferguson’s Preston North End side. Town have only two defeats in seventeen games and they will be looking to continue that run against Preston tomorrow, while Preston have just two wins in twelve games.

Town will be missing Jon Walters and long term absentee Luca Civelli.

Town manager Roy Keane: "It's going to present a challenge with so many games coming up away from home but I'm pleased with the mentality of the group and we'll be ready for it," Roy told the Club website.

"Preston will be a very difficult game for us. They are well established in the Championship, have plenty of experience and are physically strong.

"They have brought Danny Wellbeck in from (Manchester) United and Ross Wallace is there, who I know from Sunderland and he scored down here. They've got some good players.

"We seem to have to be right on the top of our game to win football matches. We maybe dropped off a bit at Southampton but I was delighted with the effort and attitude against West Brom on Tuesday. We had to turn in a good level of performance against a very good side to get anything out of that game and if we can do the same at Preston, we will be alright."

Preston are missing their captain Callum Davidson, who sustained a head injury in Preston's win against Peterborough. Paul Parry and Barry Nicholson will also miss out.
