But Garvan turn it down even though he is not part of Roy Keanes plans at the moment.

Ipswich where prepared to let Garvan go out on loan to the U's. But the Irish Midfielder turn down the offer. 

Garvan wanted to stay at Ipswich and fright for his place on the Ipswich Team. The Colchester manager Aidy Boothroyd said it's fair and understands.

Keane said prior to the Sheffield UTD match that Garvan is not part of his plans at the moment and that he still can change his mind about going out on loan.

Keane went on to say:

“He’s out of my plans at this moment in time. He’s a talented boy and I’ve gone down the road with certain players, but like all the other players at the club Owen has the opportunity to impress me.

The boy’s attitude has been fine, he’s been training hard and he’s played in the reserve games."

Though Garvan has played well he has not yet impressed Keane. So going out on loan would give him the chance to do so while he is not playing on the 1st team at Ipswich.

If Garvan starts doing well in reserve games he may have a chance to play 1st team football at the weekend. Keane has not ruled this out.

Aidy Boothroyd has said he will not carry on the pursuit of Garvan.
