Clarke Joins Cobblers

Town striker Billy Clarke has joined League One side Northampton Town on-loan for a month. The 21-year-old striker has just returned from a half season loan at League Two side Darlington, where he scored 9 goals in 25 appearances.

Town manager Jim Magilton: "We've agreed for Billy to go to Northampton for a month, he needs to be out playing first-team games and the loan will give him the opportunity to do that."

Clarke will meet his new team-mates on Friday and stay with The Cobblers until the 24th of February.
