Ambrose Back At The Valley

Town will not be extending the loan of Charlton Athletic midfielder Darren Ambrose as Town manager Jim Magilton feels he didn’t see the best of the 24-year-old during his loan spell. Ambrose returned to Town on-loan in November and went on to make 9 appearances in Town's midfield but was forced out of the side by Alan Quinn in the final few games of his loan.

Town manager Jim Magilton: "We have not seen the best of Darren, his loan move did not work out as both he and ourselves had hoped for."
