Town season ticket holders could be in line for a small Christmas present from the club following the government's decision to cut VAT to 15%. Town season ticket holders would lose out if the club decided to reduce admission prices for fans who buy tickets for individual games.
Manchester United will be handing back money to their season ticket holders as only 6 of United's home games took place before the 1st of December and its possible that Town could do something similar for the remaining home games, although any benefit will be small as the VAT cut was only 2.5% (2.5 pence in every pound).
