Liam Extends Fishing Trip

Town midfielder Liam Trotter has extended his stay at League Two side Grimsby Town for another month following talks between Town and Grimsby. The 20-year-old midfielder was due to return to Town on Monday after a month in Lincolnshire but he now won't be returning until the middle of November.

Grimsby boss Mike Newell: "We are signing Liam for another month because we think he has quality and there is a lot more to come from him.

"We have spoken to Ipswich about that and they are in agreement for him to stay on."
