Town could be without three defenders for the game against Crystal Palace on Saturday as Ben Thatcher, David Wright and Moritz Volz have all reported injuries. Thatcher will be out for around 6 weeks with a torn thigh muscle while Wright and Volz are just doubts for the game on Saturday.
Town physio Matt Byard: "It's a pretty severe tear and Ben is going to be out for a while, he is going to have to rest the injury for 10 days or so before we can start any form of rehab and then we have to carefully manage it from there.
"You can't put down a definite return date because we don't know how quickly the tear will heal. You certainly can't rush back after these sort of injuries so we are probably looking at between four to six weeks before Ben's in a position to be back working at something like 100 per cent again.
"Wrighty reported a tweak in his calf when he did some light work on Wednesday morning, Moritz played against Wigan but his hamstring tightened up after the game and we will have to see how he is on Friday.
"With the Palace match just around the corner, they both have to be considered a doubt at the moment."
