Sir Bobby Honoured

Town and England legend Sir Bobby Robson is among the inaugural inductees into the European Hall of Fame. Sir Bobby was inducted in the National Hall of Fame in 2003 and will inducted into the new European hall of fame next month at a ceremony in Liverpool although Sir Bobby in unlikely to attend due to ill health.

Sir Bobby is delighted with the news of his induction, saying: "I'm overwhelmed. This is a huge honour. To join such an illustrious group is fabulous."

Sir Bobby will be joined by Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Matt Busby, Brian Clough, Bob Paisley, Sir Bobby Charlton, Kevin Keegan, Kenny Dalglish, George Best and John Toshack in the new hall of fame.
