West Ham United goalkeeper Richard Wright has finally signed for Town, a year after Town first tried to sign the ‘keeper. Wright, now 30, signed a two year deal with Town earlier today after passing a medical over the weekend.
During his first spell at Town he made 291 appearances before moving onto Arsenal in the summer of 2001 for £6 million before joining Everton in 2002 for £3.5 million where he made 71 appearances but his time at Goodison Park was interrupted by injuries and he was released last summer and joined West Ham on a free transfer but he finished last season on-loan at Southampton after failing to take the number one spot from Rob Green at Upton Park, he has signed for Town for an undisclosed fee.
