Reports in this mornings newspapers suggest that League One Huddersfield Town are ready to spend £700,000 to sign Gary Roberts and Alan Lee from Town. Roberts is one of the five player that Town manager Jim Magilton placed on the transfer list at the start of the summer but he may be unwilling to drop down into League One even if Town and the Terriers agree fee for the 24-year-old who joined Town from Accrington Stanley in 2006 and has two years remaining on his contract.
Lee has a year remaining on his contract at Portman Road but may want to move on in order to keep getting first team football which he is no longer guaranteed after Town signed Kevin Lisbie from Colchester United.
