Jim: No Captain Yet

Town manager Jim Magilton says he has not made his mind up about who will be Town's captain heading into the new season and the armband will be passed around during the summer.

Former Town captain Jason De Vos retired at the end of last season leaving Town looking for someone to replace him as a leader on the pitch with Tommy Miller, David Wright, Alex Bruce, David Norris and Gareth McAuley all being linked with the roll and despite Bruce wearing the arm band against Brentford last week Jim says he has not made his mind up yet.

Jim: "I'll do a Capello. Why not? Every team needs four or five leaders and Alex had a taste of it as captain but we will throw the arm band around.

"That is not being discourteous or disrespectful it is just about finding the right people to take it.

"Alex is a natural leader but then so are one or two others so we will hand it around during pre-season and make a decision going into the first game."
