Town manager Jim Magilton says he may offer Town striker Dean Bowditch the chance to stay at Town for another season when his contract expires next month. The 21-year-old striker looked a certainty to leave Portman Road when his contract expired after spending much of the past two seasons out on-loan and injured, but Jim may give him one final chance to prove his worth at Town.
Jim: "Dean has his suitors after what he has shown with us over the years, he has been at this club for 12 years and I am going to have a heart to heart with him. I will look into his eyes and see what is going on.
"I have held back offering him a new contract, but it would irk me if all the hard work over the years at this club came to nothing."
