Naylor Glad To Be Back

After nearly a year on the sidelines Richard Naylor is glad he returned to first team action against Crystal Palace, the ground where he made his last Town appearance before injury. Naylor injured his toe at Selhurst Park in a 2-0 defeat against Palace last February, the injury required surgery which put his return to action, as did slipping a disc just before his return, but now Naylor is back in the first team and he couldn't be happier.

"It was great to be playing again and the result and performance topped it off.

"I had to have a pain-killing injection to get through last season's game and since then it's been a long and frustrating road to get back to fitness.

"I've had to be patient but now I feel very bright and positive and I'm looking forward rather than backwards."
