Praise For Owen

Town midfielder Owen Garvan has been praised for his display for the Republic of Ireland U21 side against the England U21 side last night. Owen, earning his 4th cap for his nation and played all 90 minutes against England at Southampton last night and he has been praised by former Republic international Roy Houghton.

Roy: "Garvan was outstanding in the middle of the park, he passed the ball well and showed some nice touches and didn't look out of place at all against Premiership players in the opposition."
