Town manager Jim Magilton has dedicated Town's first away win of the season to the Town fans that have kept attending away games this season. Jim: "I want to thank the fans for sticking with us.

"It's been a long time coming but they have always been there for us and it was great to see the ovation at the end from the supporters.

"We have not given them much to cheer on our travels so it was fantastic to see them celebrating at the end.

"The pressure was obviously building up. If you don't win games then that is always going to happen and there is a sense of relief after the win but we need to use this as a springboard.

"We are back in the top six and I have said to the players that we push on from here and use it as a platform to go on a run.

"It was a great strike from Quinny and that goal will do Alan Lee's confidence the world of good, Pablo was doing well but the pitch wasn't good and we were struggling to get the ball into him and felt that Alan's physical presence might give us another edge.

"He has needed a goal and hopefully that will be the start of something for him.

"I was also pleased with the new lads. David Norris should have been awarded a penalty, Stephen Bywater did well in goal and Schumy had his first taste of English football. When he gets used the pace of the game over here he is going to be a very good acquisition for this football club."
