Town's search for a win away from Portman Road goes on, although they did manage to get a point against Blackpool despite being down to 10 men. Before today's game Blackpool were looking for their third win in a row at Bloomfield Road and they were on the way to a win in the 39th minute when Claus Jorgensen tapped home after Stephen McPhee had rounded Neil Alexander.
Town were reduced to 10 men on 63 minutes when Sito was shown a straight red card for a tackle on Wes Hoolahan. Moments later McPhee could have won the game for the home side but instead managed to head wide.
Jon Walters levelled the scores on 65 minutes when he powered home a Gary Roberts corner. Town held on for the point and remain 7th in the Championship.
