PMM: Town 1-1 Stoke

Town manager Jim Magilton was disappointed with the point his side picked up against Stoke earlier today. Jim: "It was probably a fair result on the balance of play and you have to give Stoke credit for a gritty display, we started brightly, got the goal and I thought we would push on from there. We were moving the ball around well and looked dangerous going forward.

"But we let them back in the game and that gave them a lift and it was a sloppy goal to give away.

"We started the second-half well and I thought we would go on and get a second goal but they battled well and made it difficult for us.

"Danny Haynes was bright for us. He took his goal well and could have had a second and was our best player going forward. His pace can cause problems for the opposition if he given space.

"Neil Alexander made an excellent save from Ricardo Fuller in the second-half and although I'm disappointed we didn't win, it's another point towards where we want to be."
