Town After Norris?

Town have once again been linked with a move for Plymouth Argyle midfielder David Norris, with a bid reportedly being made. Town manager Jim Magilton did say yesterday that he had made a bid for unnamed player who could have joined in time to play against West Brom today, which now won't happen as they player has not been registered in time to face the league leaders.

Town did make an enquiry for the 26-year-old in the summer but were rejected by Plymouth, who would have to pay 50% of any sale to Bolton Wanderers something with the Devon based club are trying to reduce.

Another player that Town have been linked with is Portsmouth striker David Nugent, but he appears to going to Reading in a swap deal with Leroy Lita or staying at Portsmouth to cover for players leaving for the African Nations Cup.
