Naylor: I’m Ready

Town defender Richard Naylor says he could be ready to play against Wolves on Saturday if he was needed to. The 30-year-old defender has been put of action since the end of January with the toe injury with eventually required surgery but he has played two reserve games recently and is due to play another on Monday but he says he is ready for first team action if Town need him.

Naylor: "If push came to shove I could play on Saturday.

"I am getting a few aches after matches and am taking supplements and tablets for that. It is gradually easing away.

"But I am getting no adverse reaction - so I feel I am on the way back after a number of false dawns.

"It is a case of playing in the reserves and catching the eye of the manager.

"Fabian Wilnis has come in at the back and done well and I know that there is competition to get back into the team, but I feel I am ready if needed."
