De Vos Calls For Technology

Town captain Jason De Vos has called for more technology to be used in football following a weekend of gaffes by referees. De Vos: "It has got to be time for video technology to come into the game.

"If there is a controversial decision in the game, the match stops anyway because the players protest - everyone goes to the referee and there is a lull in the game anyway.

"So I cannot see any reason why the referee cannot go to a video judge and question whether there was a penalty or not.

"It is time to take advantage of the technology which is already there and benefit from that."
