Lewis Leaves

Town have sold goalkeeper Lewis Price to Premiership new comers Derby County for a fee reported to be £200,000 plus add-ons. With Town signing Neil Alexander Recently it way likely that either Shane Supple or Lewis would leave and today the 23-year-old Welshman has joined Derby County signing a three year contract at Pride Park.

Town manager Jim Magilton: "With Neil coming in, there was always a likelihood that Lewis might move on and we have tried to help the lad.

"He's a great kid and him and Shane have been the hardest working players on the training ground so I'm pleased he has got fixed up with a new club and a new challenge. Everyone at Ipswich Town wishes him the very best for the future."
