Blackburn will not decide the future of striker Francis Jeffers until the Premiership season is over on the 13th of May.
Jeffers is on-loan to Town until the end of the Football League season with Town and Jeffers both keen on making the move a longer term one but Blackburn won’t make a decision on his future until the summer.
Blackburn Rovers Chairman John Williams: “We will make a decision as to whether we want to keep Franny Jeffers at the end of the season, once we've assessed our own requirements, at the moment we haven't made a decision as to whether he's available or not.”
Derby County are rumoured to be keen on the 26-year-old striker should they get promoted to the premiership.
