Town showed just what they are capable of against Derby County earlier today, coming from a goal down to win 2-1.

The visitors took the lead after just 8 minutes when Matt Oakley hit one of the goals of the season with his strike from 25 yards which left Shane Supple with no chance.

 

Derby goalkeeper Stephen Bywater and Town defender Alex Bruce were both shown red cards just before the half hour mark for violent conduct, Billy Davies was sent to the stands for protesting.

 

Town got their first goal after 69 minutes when Wilnis released Francis Jeffers, who slotted the ball into the back of the net.

 

Danny Haynes got the winner from the penalty spot after he was fouled by one time Town loanee Jay McEveley.
