Town manager Jim Magilton says he is considering an appeal against a two game touch line ban he received.
Jim was handed the ban for using abusive language towards Mark Clattenburg after he decided on just three minutes of stoppage time during Town’s game against Preston last month, Jim was also fined £500, ten times the fine of Southend boss Steve Tilson for the same offence.
Jim: “I was wrong to say what I did, although these things happen in the heat of battle, I expected a fine but to be banned for two games seems very harsh to me. I'm deeply disappointed with the punishment, especially when I look at what other managers have received for similar offences.
“It was also my first offence so all in all, I'm very upset about it. We have 14 days to consider whether to appeal and that's something I am certainly looking at doing.”
If the ban stands Jim will have to watch Town play Leeds and Cardiff from the stands.
