Jeffers In On-Loan

Town have signed Blackburn Rovers striker Francis Jeffers on a month long loan from the premiership side.

The 26-year-old could be available for Town’s game against QPR tomorrow if all the paper work is completed in time.

 

Jeffers started his career at Everton where he scored 18 goals in just 49 games before moving to Arsenal for £8million in 2001, his time at The Gunners was not as successful as his spell at Goodison Park with just four goals coming during his three year stay, he then moved to Charlton in 2004 before joining Blackburn last summer.
