Owen Misses Col U Clash

Town midfielder Owen Garvan will miss Town’s game against Colchester on Saturday after injuring his foot.

Owen missed the game against Chester on Tuesday with the injury he picked up against Sunderland last Saturday and now appears he will miss the game against Colchester on Saturday with the same problem, But Sylvain Legwinski is expected to be able to play.  

 

Town’s head of sport science Dave Williams: “Owen has had a scan and it's shown he has some soft tissue bruising but there's no major damage, he's improving but not quick enough for him to be considered for Saturday.

 

On the subject of Legwinski, Dave added: “It's a dead leg as much as anything but he's improving and we're hopeful he will be clear to play against Colchester,”
