Williams Post Leeds

Town midfielder Gavin Williams was delighted to have scored a great goal against Leeds today but disappointed to have came off.

Williams scored the only game as Town beat Leeds 1-0 but he was forced off the pitch during the second half as a groin injury flared up.

Williams: “Obviously I was delighted with the goal but the most important thing was the three points, we didn't play that well and Leeds did a good job in stopping us playing but we did enough to deserve the points.

“It was disappointing for me to come off but my groin is sore and I've got to see a specialist on Monday.

“It's very frustrating because I've already missed two months of the season and I just hope it's just a reaction to playing games after being out for so long.”
