O’Callaghan Set For Deal

Cork City midfielder George O’Callaghan is set to be offered a contract by Town after impressing in a reserve friendly.

The 27-year-old has had offers from Hull City, Sunderland and Slavia Prague but he has turned them down and is now set to join Town.

 

Town boss Jim Magilton: “I was delighted George scored. It confirmed what we already knew and we will now sit down with him and go through the bits and pieces and offer him a contract.

 

“Everything he has done has been very positive and we have been delighted with his all round attitude around the place which has been first class.

 

“This was a game I knew he would do well in and now we will see how he feels about the whole situation.”
