Walton: We Must Sort It

On-loan Charlton midfielder Simon Walton says Town have got to start being consistent.

Walton: “We keep kicking ourselves in the teeth (against Barnsley and Burnley) and it has got to stop, we got what we deserved - nothing.

 

“There was a perfect chance to make a statement about our credentials after last weekend's win over Norwich.

 

“But we blew it and we can have no complaints.

 

“We must sort it out although to be honest - like the rest of the lads - I cannot put my finger on why we are so inconsistent.

 

“There is potential for us to go on after Christmas and make an impact. We have seen that we are good enough in a number of our displays this season.

 

“But we must become more consistent. Apart from Alan Lee's scuffed shot we did not look like scoring and we can't go on spoiling ourselves.

 

“There are no easy points on offer in this division.”
