Town midfielder Jaime Peters has thanked Town manager Jim Magilton for showing faith in him this season.

Peters got his first Town goal against Luton yesterday, which he says has given him a boost and he thanks Jim for giving him the chance.

 

Jaime: “I'm just so glad to get off the zero mark. That goal has given me a real boost, it has lifted my confidence and when you win like we did against Luton, it puts you even more on a high.

 

“The gaffer has shown a lot of faith in me right from pre-season; he's told me to just keep working hard.

 

“In the last few games I feel that I've done really well and now I hope that I can stay in the squad and hopefully help the team go on a good run of results.

 

“That's two wins in succession now and we've got to go on from here. There's a great team spirit in our Club and you could see that against Luton

 

“If we can repeat that sort of performance on a regular basis then we can force our way into the Play-Off places. That's the challenge for us, to reach that level on a consistent basis.”
