Town will be presented with a cheque worth £361,991 from Britannia building society, the money raised from the Save and Support partnership so far this year.

The scheme which raises money for youth development at Portman Road has so far raised over £4.65million since its launch back in 1998.

Ipswich Town Manager Jim Magilton doing his public relations bit said: “The Save and Support Account, together with Ipswich Town Personal Loans, continues to help fund the development of the young players here and that's fantastic news for the Club.

“Joining the Save and Support Account is a win-win situation for any Town fan. Britannia offers great rates of interest for you and helps the Club benefit as well. So if you're lucky enough to have money to invest why not call in to your local branch and check out the benefits of the account.”
