On-loan Accrington Stanley midfielder Gary Roberts says he is pleased to have made his Town debut but less then pleased with the result.
Roberts who only joined Town yesterday morning from the League Two side made his debut as a late substitute in the 3-2 defeat against
Roberts: “It was great to make my debut and playing at this level is where I want to be but I'm obviously disappointed because we have lost the game, the nerves were there before I went on but they soon disappeared and I managed to pick up on the pace of the game okay.
“I thought the match was dying a bit over the last 10 minutes. They were looking to kill the game off and I just tried to get on there and help the lads get an equaliser.
“It's been a bit of a blur the last 24 hours but being here just for the day and getting a taste of the football, I just know that I want to stay here and win a contract at
