De Vos: We Must Improve

Town captain Jason De Vos says Town must raise their game against Preston if they are avoid a 3rd defeat in a row.

De Vos: “We were simply not good enough against West Brom at the weekend and let the manager down, the supporters down and ourselves down.

 

“We didn't perform over the 90 minutes and if that happens against good sides in this league, you are going to get beat.

 

“In some matches this season we have played some terrific football and beaten some good sides but on Saturday, just like at Leicester, we dropped well below the standards we expect from ourselves.

 

“We have to maintain those high demands and set the bar up in order to get the best out of each other. Nothing else will do - starting against Preston.”
