Price Eyeing Cap

Town goalkeeper Lewis Price is hoping to get another Wales cap when they play Cyprus in Cardiff on Wednesday.

The Welsh were battered 5-1 by Slovakia on Saturday with Paul Jones having a poor game so many have called for a different ‘keeper when they play Cyprus, against who Lewis made his Welsh debut last year.

 

Lewis: “I imagine this game will be a lot different. I did well that night but we lost, which was disappointing. It would be great if I were to play against them again in the European Championships but you never know. Paul Jones is still the man with the shirt for the moment and generally he has been doing well.

 

“I would love to play against Cyprus again and at the Millennium Stadium, that would be awesome, though I hope I'm not man- of-the-match or anything like that because it means I will have been busy. I would settle for us winning 1-0 with me not having much to do - if I play.”
