Matt Ignoring Boos

Town midfielder Matt Richards says he will ignore the boo boys at Portman Road and continue to play his normal game.

The 21-year-old has been subject to abuse from part of the Portman Road crowd after below par performances from him against Southampton two weeks ago and Sunderland on Saturday.

 

Matt: “Obviously it wasn't a very nice thing to happen but I didn't let it bother me or affect the way I play.

 

“I'm not that kind of person and just wanted to get on with things as normal. I wasn't having the best of games (against Southampton) but still didn't feel I deserved that kind of treatment.”
