Price Takes Blame

Town goalkeeper Lewis Price has admitted he made a mistake that allowed DJ Campbell to score for Birmingham on Saturday.

Price was unable to stop Campbell scoring Birmingham first goal against Town on Saturday after he failed to deal the ball.

 

Price: “The ball kicked off the turf a bit and got hooked under my shoulder, but I am not making an excuse as I should have dealt with the situation.

 

“The team did brilliantly and we should have won.

 

“We played Birmingham off the park.

 

“And to play arguably three of the best teams in the Championship inside eight days and be disappointed to collect seven points is a mark of how high our expectations are.”
