Williams Misses Cup Tie

Town midfielder Gavin Williams will miss Town Carling Cup first round tie against Peterborough tomorrow night with a toe injury.

Williams spilt his toe during the 0-0 draw with Hull at the weekend but he is expected to be able to play against QPR on Friday night.

 

Town manager Jim Magilton: “Gavin didn't feel the injury until he took his boot off, then his toe opened right up, it's painful and he's out for Peterborough but I'm confident he will be fine for Friday.”
