Did people think that if Neil Redfearn had taken the job last year when Bracewell left we would have stayed up? Performances under him were varied so how did the results end up?

We asked you:

Question: If Neil Redfearn had taken the job in the first place, would we still have been relegated?

Yes, our squad is crap. 28% Yes, Redfearn is crap. 17% No, he would have kept us up. 55% Number of votes: 29

From the results it is quite clear that over half of people felt Neil Redfearn, if given long enough, would have kept us up this season.

The team certainly battled more under the leadership of Redders, and maybe if Little had fallen ill a month earlier we might have kept our place in the league. But it is all irrelevant now because we are relegated.

Only 17% think Redfearn is rubbish, and although some of the displays under him have been just that, there has been more promise in the majority of games.

Just less than 3 in 10 actually thought the squad is crap. Yes, some of the players are not fit to wear the Blue of the Shaymen, but overall I don't think the squad we have is the worst in the division although that is where we have finished up.

So do the 55% of people who thought Redders would have kept us up given enough time think that Redfearn is still the right man for the job?
