The Pinnacle

Is third place in the Championship the pinnacle for Blues this season? If so the lads achieved it in style hammering Doncaster 48-25 under the Goldington Road lights.

Sean French took the accolades crossing four times as Blues ran in seven tries to three from the Knights.

It was an all round joyous and powerful performance from the home side who went into a 22-13 lead at oranges and turned on the gas after the break. Grayson, Heffernan and Day als0 crossed with Will Maisey slotting five of the conversions and adding a penalty.

Coventrty have two games in hand and host Scottish in the first of those so they are likely to jump ahead. In the emantime let's enjoy the giddy heights.
