Blues Still In It

Goldington Road did it again for Blues as three thousand watched the Championship Cup win over Coventry which keeps the competition alive for Mike Rayer's men.

The 27-21 win didn't flatter the home side who now have to go to Doncaster next week needing a win to stay in the competition.

Doncaster lead Pool 2 wth 9 points from their two games with Blues now in third with four points- courtesy of tries from Elliott and Irvine and the unerring boot of Will Maisey. He converted one of the tries and more more importatntly for the result kicked five penalties.
