Always a tingle for the first home game of the season and this time a specially poignant occasion as we all come toegther to remember Queen Elizabeth II before the start of the game against London Scottish (kick off 3.00).

Both sides will have something to prove. Discipline was an issue for Blues at Coventry while the Exiles went down at home to Nottingham.

However, they will be a tough bit to crack this season have joined up with Quins in the same way we have an alliance with Saints. Not to everybody's taste but the way things are at the moment.

Michael Le Bourgeois is firmly back in the Blues fold both as a player and a coach and he will make his first home start since his return from Wasps.

There are a handful of changes - Ethan Grayson returns in the backs ; James Fish and Ed Prowse in the front row and  Robin Williams in the second row with Geordie Irvine at blindside.

Blues: 15. Matt Worley, 14. Sean French, 13. Ethan Grayson, 12. Michael Le Bourgeois, 11. Dean Adamson, 10. Will Maisey, 9. Alex Day (Captain); 1. Joey Conway, 2. James Fish, 3. Ed Prowse, 4. Robin Williams, 5. Alex Woolford, 6. Geordie Irvine, 7. Charles Rylands, 8. Jac Arthur.
