For many the English Championship Cup remains an afterthought (by the RFU) but as we are stll only in early April at least it provides some competitive rugby to watch. 

Nottingham are our "Championship Cup Tie 2"  opposition. The Blues travel to Lady Bay this Friday for a 7.45 kick off with the second leg at Goldington Road on Saturday April 23rd with a 3.00 kick off.

Mike Rayer is taking it seriously with four changes from the side which faced Scottish in the last league game plus a new face in another loanee from Saints - loosehead Leroy O'Neil will be on the bench.

I fear Jonathan once the boys leave us for the bright lights of the Premiership they rarely return.......who can blame.
