The Blues deserved least a point for a fighting display at the Madejski. Against a powerful London Irish we went down 29-20 but can take great heart specially from the second half show ..
Unfortunately, that half started with an injury to Camilo Parilli-Ocampo, which saw both sides go to the dressing rooms while he was receiving treatment.
We'd been 19-0 down in the first half, but a couple of yellow cards for Irish, and a red for TJ Ioane for a shoulder on Penny helped the cause. So we managed three tries from Rae, Williams and Oli Curry in the final minute and another one would have given us a bonus point.
It almost came when replacement Lennon raced down the left wing but he was bundled into touch.
Not many sides will come away from the Madejski with such a small losing margin this season.
