Season Looms

Can we improve on last season's entertaining season? That's the challenge for all at Goldington Road where pre-season is in full swing on  what are presumably rock hard surfaces ..

There's an interesting mix of new faces topped off by the return of Pat Tapley from down under, and there should be no shortage of takers for season tickets, which are now on sale.

Trying to keep up with comings and goings isn't easy, but, fortunately, the Offy site has come up with the goods. Tappers arrives togetherr with  Lewis Robling, Mark Flanagan, Ed Coulson, Oli Curry, Charlie Clare and Hayden King.

Players from the existing squad include: Ryan Hutler, Justin Blanchet, Camilo Parilli-Ocampo, Alex Penny, Jacob Fields, Huw Worthington Dean Adamson, Rich Lane,  Josh Buggea, Will Hooley, Ed Taylor, Lee Dickson, Alex Rae, Will Carrick-Smith, Harry Sheppard, Jarad Williams, Chris Czekaj, Sean McCarthy and Ben Cooper.

So then that says we have a squad of 26. Just about enough for a match day 23!! Plenty of game time this season for the bit part players. Rayer may need to strap on his boots on the odd occasion too.

very optimistic.

would like to see a full squad list with trialists first & DR's, season long loans before I can be this optimistic.

But at the blues we don't get that do we? It'll be on a need to know, secret basis.

Would have also liked to see another Lee Dickson type signing & also who are our No-9's???

On loan from Saints converting from a 10 to a 9

5 loans to be announced plus 1 signing not announced yet, so don't worry we have enough of a squad before any trial players and ones we will add as the season goes on.

If I reveal my sources we would not have any info in the public domain! ;P

I know we were waiting until the 2nd block of pre-season training before the loan players will be coming.

Until we officially get them I think we are waiting from announcing them. As in other seasons we have announced players to never see them!

At least 2 of the names should be known by supporters.
