Fightback Comes to Nought

Two defeats in a row has introduced a dose of reality after our superb start to 2016 - but there isn't any disgrace in playing a full part in a nine try thriller at Rotherham's Clifton Lane  ...

We mounted a creditable second half fightback, when trailing 33-10, with Le Booj and Dean Adamson scoring excellent tries to bring the score back to within nine points.

At that stage the next score was was crucial,  but sadly for us it was Roth who slotted two penalties to put themselves two scores clear.

However, we did get the bonus point we fully deserved with Myles Dorrian going over for the bonus point in the 39-31 defeat.

Back at Goldington Road this week when Trailfinders arrive.
