We have five of Sarries's brightest young things arriving at Goldington Road next season ...

They are prop Biyi Alo, back rower Hayden Thompson-Stringer, centre Tom Griffiths, scrum half Henry Taylor and winger George Perkins.

On ther offy site Mike Rayer says: “We’ve had a very special working relationship with Saracens over the years and I’m delighted that we are able to call upon such an exciting pool of talent over the coming season. Everyone is keen to see what these boys are capable of and I’m sure that the fans will be excited to see them in a Blues shirt soon.

“All of the lads have represented England Under 20s and being part of the Saracens set-up means that they are highly motivated and keen to succeed by following the same pathway of some illustrious names in English rugby”

I think the fact that this has no comments sums up how excited we all are about this BIG new.

Hayden Thompson-Stringer should be good to see if he builds on last season

Simon, there is still plenty of news to come. 3-4 current squad players still un-confirmed and we need another 8.....

Wow 5 Sarries kids - will we see them next year? - think the comment from Mark McCall says it all really- the agreement between Sarries and Bedford continues to be beneficial for us as a club

Not - the agreement is beneficial to both clubs

Ahem!!!

The BOS also quotes McCall as "many players have gained valuable experience in the Championship before making the transition to the Premiership and we hope both clubs continue to benefit from this agreement"

Let's hope we get to see this young talent this season, in amongst ours. We need a couple of old heads and I think we can look forward to a successful season.

Yawn Yawn Yawn .................. Make that 2 Sarries players, because that's as most as we're likely to see, and don't ask Mr Elusive where they are because he's up in the Lifesure Suite.
