Blues Bandwagon Derailed

Tupai

Our chances of making it into the play-offs are a lot slimmer after rivals Rotherham made the better of some awful conditions.

The 34-19 scoreline was a little flattering to the home side, but we were made to pay for our mistakes in the second half after we'd overcome a 14 point deficit in the first. An impressive Steffan Joens got the first Blues try followed by Peter White's first Championship score.

A Tupai try and Pritchard con levelled the scores after an exciting 30 minutes buit it was downhill from then as a snowstorm hit.

Roth ran in two tries to take their total to 5 and to deny us a bonus points.

Next game at home to Scootish on January 31st.

I thought we had an outside chance of the play off's until Saturday.
The amount of changes we made from the Mose and Doncaster games contributed to the loss.

I know players need game time but I don't understand why you'd change someone in form to someone who hasn't played for 3 weeks.

We need a wanderers team like the good old days playing meaningful friendlies at Goldington road when the blues are away or maybe as a warm up game when they are at home

From my understaning the reason the Wanderers folded was a lack of funds. We've still got that problem.

They were great days, mind you had more time on my hands so could go to these games. It was great when they used to have trialists playing too
