Gillanders in action

We could probably do with a home game after the disappointment of the last minute defeat at Nottingham. Instead we're off for a stiff test in Cornwall on Sunday ...

Skipper James Pritchard is on duty with Canada while Greg Gillanders will be missing for a month, but the good news is that no injuries were reported after the misery of Meadow Lane.

That game was lost because of a couple of mistakes but the general play was a big improvement - even though we were playing against another side down at the bottom.

Similar will be needed if we are to smuggle anything against the Pirates who have the benefit of a passionate and noisy following plus, we gather, the added attraction of the "Falmouth Marine Band, Kernow King, Rattler Challenge,Cadgwith Singers and Blue Horyzon."

That musical lione-up doesn't mean too much to me but it promises to be an entertaining weekend for the Blues Brothers who can make it down ...
