Ainsley Heads Out on Loan

Town defender Jack Ainsley has joined Essex side Chelmsford City on loan until the 25th of March.

The Ipswich born 22 year old will link up with fellow Town academy product Joe Whight who is currently on loan at Chelmsford and will be hoping to impress as his contract at Portman Road is up at the end of the season.

Ainsley has represented England at Under 17 level in the Nordic Cup in 2006, where he played alongside former Town team-mate Jordan Rhodes and ade his debut for the club in August 2009 in the Carling Cup second round clash against Shrewsbury Town before joining Rushden & Diamonds on loan in November 2009 where he was involved in just one game.

The player spent time on loan at Histon during the 2010/11 season and featured twice for Town's first team in the same campaign.Notched up a further two games, one in the league, and one in the cup in 2011/2012.
